Because they’re just too good to us, Baron Von Alias & MistaBreeze have released their ‘Brace For The Impact’ EP today.  A tasty teaser for their forthcoming ‘May Contain Nuts’ EP, and also released especially for those with allergies, ‘Brace For The Impact’ is free to download for a limited period before it is released on iTunes and other such sites where you will have to pay for the download.

Now Carlsberg don’t do rappers, but if they did he’d probably have a fake tashe, top-hat and treat time like a twat!  Baron Von Alias is some talent and along with MistaBreeze, the Hardest Thug in UK Hip Hop (at his age, you can’t be that cheeky and that good looking unless you can pack a punch!) they make an incredible team.

Brace For The Impact’ is an EP with filthy, heavy beats and tracks that would not be out of place on a Drum n Bass album and would work perfectly for some freaky dancing in nightclubs.  The EP features guest appearances from the lovely Eliza Lawson, the epic Rossi Noise, rappers Absorb and Wizard Sleeve’s Lex One.

Eliza Lawson

The versatility that The Baron & Breeze display on this EP is truly awesome.  They’ve touched on several different genres of music with this release yet still maintained their impressive Hip Hop flavour.  This is an extremely danceable EP as displayed with the smart addition of the fantastic Rossi Noise on ‘Light Years’, adding a different dimension to what is really a Computer Game Music style Club Dance track with a Hip Hop twist.  Rossi Noise also feature on ‘Do Your Worst’ along with Absorb.  ‘Do Your Worst’ is possibly my joint-favourite track on this EP.  It’s a great Hip Hop/DubStep club track which, partially due to the catchy chorus and filthy, wobbling bass, really sticks in your head and it won’t be long til clued-up DJs are banging this track in clubs up and down the country.

Throw Your Body’ is another infectious track with dance appeal and commercial value, with yet more catchy lyrics and a very bouncy beat that will have you fist-pumpin’ and stamping your feet.  ‘Impact’ is a proper hard club track.  The dirty synthetic bass with the added effects is so filthy that it is disgustingly good.  The incredibly talented vocalist Eliza Lawson guests on ‘Impact’ and compliments the track in brilliant fashion, giving a brief glimpse of what the future has in store.

As I mentioned before, ‘Do Your Worst’ is possibly my joint-favourite track on the EP, joint-favourite, along with ‘Step In The Room’.  ‘Step In The Room’ is one of my favourite Baron tracks of all time and, in my opinion, one of Breeze’s best outings.  It also further displays the adaptability that Baron Von Alias & MistaBreeze are capable of.  On ‘Step In The Room’ Baron & Breeze add their unique Hip Hop flavour to what is essentially a Rock track and it works in epic fashion; imagine a Cramlington based Public Enemy with a comic book twist.

Brace for The Impact’ is a truly epic EP.  It’s hard to believe that this is not even the big release and is merely a taster for their next release, the ‘May Contain Nuts’ EP.  Baron Von Alias & MistaBreeze are being far too good to their fans (who are rapidly growing in numbers) this year.  Get it downloaded while it’s free.

Brace For The Impact’ is yet another awesome release from the ever-impressive Baron Von Alias & MistaBreeze and it will leave you itching for the forthcoming release of ‘May Contain Nuts’, which is coming out soon.  Isn’t it exciting???

I’m taking my laptop to be repaired tomorrow so this blog’s gonna have loadsa crap crammed into it!  The fukkin retards at PC World bodged the original repair on my DVD/CD drive so I need to send the fukka back, which is a piss take seeing as they’ve had my laptop for repairs for two months outta the thirteen that I’ve owned the fukkin thing!

THIS WEEKEND’S BETTING TIPS RESULTS

Another weekend’s betting tips from Wor Shitus and me has proven fruitless!

https://mallazmalcolmwhite.wordpress.com/2012/01/06/fa-cup-third-round-betting-tips/

Wor Shitus‘ treble was let down by Millwall‘s failure to win at Dagenham and Redbridge.

Millwall also cost me on my second line along with QPR.  My first tip was let down because Bolton were incapable of beating Macclesfield.  Obviously my third line was a combination of my first two lines and failed to win anything too.

As things now stand, I still have my slender lead of £64.10.

Current Scores are;

Me -£362.46 v -£426.56 Wor Shitus

Dagenham & Redbridge 0 - 0 Millwall

NEXT WEEKEND’S BETTING TIPS

For next weekend I am going to go for a £50 four-fold.  I will get the odds for this bet later in the week but here’s my tips now.  Get on; Chelsea to win against Sunderland, Tottenham to beat Wolves, Cardiff to win at Doncaster and Southampton to win at Nottingham Forest.

LOVE & OTHER DISEASES

Seeing as I’m still entitled to my 20% of the profit on the EP, I might as well take this opportunity to try push my old band, Downtown Lester Brown‘s, debut EP, ‘Love & Other Diseases‘, seeing as none of the remaining members of the band have bothered their lazy, unambitious arses trying to publicise it.

Dufresne's Escape

Downtown Lester Brown are set to close 2011 with a steady gigging schedule on our hands.  This Saturday we’ll be making our first appearance at The Cluny, a very popular venue and yet another Too Far North gig.  Then we begin December by gigging on two consecutive nights.  Firstly, on the 1st, at LYH and at The Telegraph on the 2nd.  I’m actually running The Telegraph one, and I’ll be following that one up with another one in February.  If those two gigs go well, I hope to make it a regular thing.  Then it’s our final gig of the year.  On Saturday 10th December, we’ll be playing at The Dog and Parrot for Too Far North again.

Also, you can download the Empty Heed single for just $0.50 now.  Click this link and get it downloaded – http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/downtownlesterbrown2.
